The Firm Foundation Ministries Internship Programs are designed for young adults who desire to learn from some of the best leaders in ministry.  As an intern, you will grow spiritually, personally and professionally.

We believe each person brings a unique blend of talents and abilities that allow you to connect with our community and tell others of the love of Jesus.  And because of your unique talents and abilities, your internship will not be a one size fits all experience.  Rather, you will have the benefit of individual coaching from one of our leaders while gaining valuable insight on becoming a servant leader within our church body.

The FFM Internship program is created to help young adults mature in their walk with God and others while discovering how to use their talents and abilities to honor the Lord and serve their fellow man.

Applicants can choose from a wide range of areas they’re interested in, including:

  • Media Team

  • Content Creation

  • Graphic Design

  • Grounds and maintenance

  • Assist with Event Coordination

  • Children’s Ministry

  • VBS

  • Youth Ministry

  • Ushering

  • Worship Team Mentoring

  • And more!

Remember, this isn’t your average internship. So, we’ll really love it if:

  • You are pursuing Jesus passionately. After all, we are a church, and all of this is for, about and because of Jesus!

  • You are a team player—you’re humble, willing to serve, able to see needs and take part in filling those needs and have a great love for people. After all, people aren’t just part of the mission; people are the mission.

  • You are ready to make an impact and build the Kingdom through your creative problem-solving skills and next-level work ethic.

    • FFM Summer Internships are 3 months long and located at Firm Foundation Ministries in Centreville, Michigan.

    • Summer Interns serve up to 20 hours a week.

    • Interns will develop spiritually, personally, and professionally through individual mentoring, hands on service opportunities, and other aspects of ministry.

    • The FFM Summer Internship program is not a paid position.

  • Daily Details:

    • EDGE Interns will attend EDGE Bible College each Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 pm

    • Tentative Schedule 

      • Monday - 11:00-2:00

      • Tuesday - Thursday - 9:00-2:00

      • Friday - Day off

      • Saturday - Dependant on Foundation Sports Schedule

      • Sunday - EDGE Interns will service in morning services as well as at Sunday evening youth ministries

    Financial Details:

    • EDGE Interns are asked to raise a minimum of $1,200 per month. These funds will be used to internship ministry expenses, a personal spending stipend and EDGE tuition. Upon your acceptance into the program, you will be provided with a link for your support donations to be sent through Firm Foundation Ministries.
