Elijah and Leora met in 2015, and were married on May 4th 2018 and began attending Firm Foundation Ministries in 2020. They now have a beautiful daughter, Klaire Joy. Elijah was born and raised right down the road from Firm Foundation Ministries in Centreville where he graduated from Centreville Public Schools in 2014, and then graduated with an Associate’s degree from Glen Oaks Community College in 2017. Leora was born and raised in Shipshewana Indiana and graduated in 2017.
Elijah serves as the Youth Pastor along with his wife Leora, a role in which they took over full time in 2024 for Pastor Tim and Lynette Carpenter who served the youth ministry faithfully for over a decade. Elijah is currently in his 2nd year of Edge Bible College and will be graduating with his Associate’s degree in Biblical Studies in the summer of 2026. Leora also helps serve in many other Women’s Ministries here at Firm Foundation Ministries.
They both love serving the young people of our church and have an incredible team that helps them love on the youth kids of our area by showing them the love of Jesus wherever they go.
